Teaching and Learning Specialist
We are seeking a creative and highly-skilled educator to serve as a Teaching and Learning Specialist. The Specialist supports the daily operations of the Inspired Teacher Certification Program, a state-accredited 24-month teacher residency program that recruits, selects, prepares, certifies, and supports highly qualified individuals who wish to serve the children of the District of Columbia as teachers. The Teaching and Learning Specialist, will support all aspects of the Inspired Teacher Certification Program, primarily through classroom support for first and second year Inspired Teaching Fellows, serving as the primary point of contact for Fellows. Master/Lead Teacher, Inspired Teaching Demonstration School
The Inspired Teaching School is now accepting applications for Lead/Master teachers for the 2015-16 school year. The school is seeking self-motivated, dynamic, and thoughtful individuals with proven progressive, inquiry-based teaching skills to join the faculty. In 2015-16, the school will serve PreSchool – 7th grade, and will grow to PreSchool – grade 8 in the 2016-17 school year. The school seeks highly qualified teachers to join its Elementary Team.
